Thermafoil/Grafoil. . . it ain't just for breakfast anymore!As with anything, we as humans tend to be a little blind as to using products or materials for different applications. We all like saying we are innovators,
but most feel safer sheepily following a path worn by the brave. One such example of this is flexible graphite.
Flexible graphite became the excellent packing replacement for asbestos. The change was expedited because
of legal horror. The valve industry (users and manufacturers) quickly adapted to the new product adjusting to its performance and limitations. However, as the excitement settled, a trend could be seen - it was running
into a rut of being just another packing and gasket material.
Well... We here at EGC are here to say "Thermafoil ain't just for breakfast anymore". Sure we enjoy repeat business of designed packing and
gaskets, but we have an insatiable appetite for biting into other tasty markets. So, join us in creating and expanding the uses of Thermafoil/Grafoil and see just how far we at EGC have taken the technology.
